Egypt Hibiscus grows in many warm temperate, tropical and subtropical regions around the world and is native to Asia and the Pacific Islands. There are thousands of subvarieties with different colors. Some have blossoms just two inches in diameter, while others are ten to twelve inches. Hibiscus tea can be made from the petals and also from the calyces of the hibiscus plant.
