Astragalus Root Extract is a Chinese herb used to support the immune system, promoting normal levels of antibodies, macrophages and immune messenger molecules. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Astragalus is used to tonify the spleen, the qi (vital energy), and the blood. Astragalus Extract has antioxidant effects and helps inhibits free radical production and lipid peroxidation. It is also very high in trace minerals and micronutrients.
