Amla (i.e. Amalaki, the Indian Gooseberry) is a sour, astringent-tasting native Indian fruit, traditionally used in Ayurveda for its cooling effects that manage fiery pitta energy.
Extremely low heat is used during the entire process of converting fresh fruits to powder to ensure that the delicate nutrients are preserved. This product has been lab tested for heavy metals, and it complies with U.S. federal and state laws.
Suggested useTake ½ teaspoon mixed with warm water, or as directed.
Pair with fresh, cold juices or make tea: boil ½ tsp per 8 oz water for 10 min, steep one hour, and drink.
Other ingredients100% of the total ingredients are from organic farming.
WarningsColor may vary and does not affect quality. Amla darkens as it ages, and some people even prefer the taste of aged, darker Amla. The freshest Amla tastes stronger, but mellows over time.
