NOW Foods, Ascorbyl Palmitate, 500 mg, 100 Veg Capsules

NOW® Ascorbyl Palmitate is a highly stable form of Ascorbic Acid, or Vitamin C. Ascorbyl Palmitate is soluble in both water and lipid, and this dual solubility allows it to be incorporated into cell membranes where it neutralizes free radicals and helps maintain healthy issues. While it possesses all of the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C, it can also more easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, facilitating the extension of its antioxidant activities to the brain and nervous system.

Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food.

Hypromellose (cellulose capsule), rice flour, stearic acid (vegetable source) microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide.

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut or sesame ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

For adults only. Ascorbyl Palmitate may increase iron bioavailability. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition (especially an iron storage disorder).
