Blue Berry™ Eye Vitamin contains extracts of orange marigold flower and purple bilberry fruit. Their color stems from the concentrated pigment content of lutein and anthocyanins, respectively.
Vaccinium myrtillus is a wild lowbush blueberry species native to Northern Europe. Its berries are smaller and more intensely pigmented with deep purple fruit flesh, than the cultivated highbush blueberries. It is these pigments from the bilberry and marigold extract and vitamin A, which help benefit the eye's macular health. These pigments also work as antioxidants, which help protect the eyes from oxidative stress when exposed to light induced stressors, such as blue light.
