What Is Berberine?

Berberine is a plant extract that is found in the roots, rhizomes, stems, and bark of several plants, including goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape, philodendron, tree turmeric, and barberry. Our formula is specifically extracted from Barberry, a large evergreen shrub which produces barberries.

Barberries contain Berberine, but are usually extremely tart, so many people choose to take a supplement instead. Each serving of our advanced formula delivers 500 mg of Berberine HCl, derived from Barberry Extract. These vegetarian capsules are a wonderful alternative for those who dislike the taste of barberries but still want to reap the benefits.

For adults, take two (2) vegan capsules two to three times daily, preferably with meals.
