Why Bluing? White fabric turns yellow or gray with age and repeated washings. Bluing restores the sparkling whiteness. Works on washable synthetics as well as natural fabrics without harming fibers like bleach can.
Suggested useShake well before using. Always dilute bluing with cold water in a separate container before adding to wash load.
How much bluing:
small load - a few drops, large load - up to 1/4 teaspoon.
How to use bluing:
Dilute bluing in 1 to 2 quarts of cold water. Add diluted bluing to wash water or final rinse water. Wash water should appear a light sky blue color.
Note: If too much is used or spilled on clothing, soak fabric overnight in a solution of 1/2 cup household ammonia to 1 quart of cold water, in a tightly covered container.
