Is Charcoal Safe To Ingest?

Our charcoal capsules are made of activated charcoal derived from organic coconut shells. Activated charcoal differs from regular charcoal in that it is more porous, allowing it to filter and adsorb more material. Activated charcoal is safe to ingest when needed, but is not recommended to be taken on a daily basis.

Adults take 1-2 capsules by mouth with water.

Take at least 2 hours before or after any medications or dietary supplements as activated charcoal may impact their absorption. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
