Dried Shiitake Mushrooms have a wonderful smoky flavor and a meaty texture. Dried Shiitake mushrooms can add an Oriental touch to any meal, adding a unique flavor to sauces, soup and stews. They are high in protein, low in fat and a good source of vitamins and mineral. Dried Shiitake can be a great addition to any kitchen pantry- used in a variety of recipes.

Soak dried mushrooms in water for 5~6 hours to make mushrooms soft. Please make sure that the mushrooms are completely placed in water.

Cooking Direction

Tempura: After draining, prepare with Tempura Batter Mix and fry.

Barbecued: Put on skewer with meat, vegetables etc. Soak in Teriyaki sauce for a minute and barbecue.
