





Frontier Co-op® Smoked Paprika is ground into a powder from Capsicum annum peppers smoked in Spain. Smoked paprika has a flavor unlike regular paprika, which is not smoked at all. The peppers are smoked and dried over hot fires then crushed to deliver a deep smoky flavor to many different dishes. Capsicum annuum is larger and much milder than its cousin the chili pepper.
This versatile ingredient delivers an earthy, warm flavorful bite to any dish it is added to. Fragrantly sweet and intensely colorful, this is a great spice to keep on hand.
Suggested use
Combine it with pork, shrimp and sausage dishes for perfect pællas or mix it with olive oil and rub between the skin and breast of a roast chicken. Our Smoked Paprika, Smoked in Spain also pairs well with deviled eggs or egg salad, or to spice up soup and guacamole dip.
