Building a Better Bakery
Purposefully crafted with a blend of protein, fat, and carbohydrates, Clif Bar® is made to sustain active bodies. Today, our company is doing even more to sustain the environment in the way we bake our bars. In 2016, we opened a new bakery in Twin Falls, Idaho, that runs on 100% renewable electricity* and features hybrid cooling towers that use one-third less water than most conventional facilities. It even has 5 acres of solar panels-enough to power 280 homes for a year! We've always made a different kind of energy bar, and now we're thrilled to have a bakery to match.
